    Hello again all,

I posted after EPU and it has been great to follow all the posts but havn't had a chance to repost until now.

We are on first round IVF for unexplained infertility and have been TTC since March 2013....no issues detected on either side as yet!. I'm 34 and DH 33. The initial plan was to do 50/50 ICSI and 'natural' but only managing to get 4 eggs on collection they all were ICSI.

We were lucky enough to get 100% fertilisation with 3 embryos making it the distance, one was transferred on Day 4 and the other 2 put on ice, was pretty happy with that result after the initial dissapointment of 4 eggs.

So I am now 5 post ET and i'm on progynova 2mg BD and crinone 8% - is anyone else on this regime? I would be keen to know how you feel. My main problem is that my boobs are out of control! they are so sore and massive (this is NOT a good thing, so uncomfortable! ) also a few low abdo cramps but nothing major and hoping this is a good sign!

    My BT is 20/11

    Crossing fingers for all!

    Cheers, m

@mjwr8 well I hate to disagree but I think sore boobs IS a good thing! Ha, could be a very good sign. I personally never got sore boobs but it does seem like a really good indication for many others. for you.

Thanks bongley!! I know it may be a good thing , but still too early for it to be BetaHCG causing it, it's probably the oestrogen in the progynova. Hard not feel a little uncomfy... It's at the point that now all my tops are a little tight! Anyhoo, all thoughts are positive

    Congrats mrs tugs!

i found out from ft why I only had one egg - hcg from trigger shot wasn't enough in my system so double the dose next time when I can drag myself to throw more money at this... Thinking of waiting until next year since it has to be a stim again.

Lizzy that's great news that you have a precise reason, even if the result itself wasn't such great news.

I've had really sore boobs, I chalk it up to the progesterone pessaries I've been on. I did also get a bfp though :-)

@Lizzzy I've read about a double trigger being used. I hope that does the trick for you. I wonder why the normal amount of HCG isn't enough for you?

    Thanks ladies for you help.
Yes the initial IVF nurse interview I was referring to. Booked it in yesterday for next Friday. I am very nervous. Not to sure what to expect. As we are 2.5 hours away from FS we are able to do it over the phone. I will definately have pen and paper but are there any questions you wish you had asked that maybe I should as for myself.

Also another question. As my DH has low quality sperm will they put the good sperm in the egg and we might be lucky or do they try and put any sperm in the egg? Sorry for all the questions. I think I have to google a lot more.

I'm pretty sure its the best - visibly. I know there is another kind of ICSI (can't recall the name) where they spin the sperm to isolate the best. It's not the standard ICSI, but possible.

One of the controversial points of using ICSI when you have MFI, is that it's possible to pass the MFI along to a son, since the chosen sperm may not have penetrated the egg if left to naturally fertilise.

But these are questions best answered by your FS.

General Q: Has anyone else noticed a bruised bellybutton post EPU? I noticed yesterday that mine is completely black & blue! I assume it's from the trauma of a large egg haul, but has anyone asked about it? I'll ask my FN today when I speak to her.
