@lileitak feel like I'm slowly improving thanks! Had another appointment with my FS yesterday and she said I seemed to have stabilised so hopefully it's only up from here.

So glad you're feeling better! Hope you continue a fast recovery

    Hi @DaniSam...

We're halfway through our first cycle, and although we have no MFI, we still did 50% ICSI at the recommendation of our FS. As of yesterday, our fertility rates were about the same in both batches. (FS recommended it so in case we had low natural #s, we didn't come out of the cycle with no embies.)

We're doing IVF because my tubes are blocked, and there is no change the egg & sperm will ever meet naturally. Being told IVF was our only option was a bit of a shock, but we were just happy to have a plan of action.

Re: the counsellor, I think these are mandatory at each clinic so I don't think there is anything to stress about. Ours was more an informal chat. I think they just want to make sure both parties are on board and understand that it will be a "journey".

    Good luck!

@emily3011 - i'm still feeling bloated, but I've a heap of DeGas which seems to be helping. I've no idea where the gas is coming from, but am slowly deflating. It's bloody painful tho.

Counselling is not mandatory at our clinic however that is very rare. It's recommended everyone does a session before starting.

Hi everyone, well I got the call this arvo confirming my BFN. I'm gutted, but expected it given the bleeding I've had since Monday.

I've got an appointment with FS on Monday so will find out what's next for us then. We have two 3 day frosties, so probably a FET round.

Thanks for everyone's kind words over the last few days.

Best of luck to all of you and here's hoping for lots of BFP's for the rest of the month!

    Take care all xx

@Moon Baby oh I'm so sorry good luck with your FETs.
@MrsTugs & @lileitak counselling isn't mandatory at either of the clinics I've been to. Only mandatory with donor eggs I think.
