Also did ISCI due to using frozen sperm. Had 11 eggs collected, 8 fertilised and just waiting to see how many make it to day 5 blastys. The lab scientist said they expect around 1 in 5 will make it to blast stage.
My preference was for natural rather then icsi, but I'm kind of relieved now that we went ICSI. We could still have none make it
there is 2 or more on Saturday!

@Rocky27 I was told pregnyl can stay in your system up to 12 days! I got a false BFP last IUI cycle because of it and I was so bummed when I realised I wasn't pregnant.

Since I have the day off today I've had time to sit and properly read comments and read your signatures. Can't believe what a long IVF journey some of you have had. You're all amazing, inspirational women. How do I add a signature?
Unfortunately that one didn't but since then I've collect loads more on each cycle and the last one I ended up with 2 frosties... It's important to remember that what happens can vary from cycle to cycle

Update - 3 out of 3 eggs fertilised but one doesn't look good so she said that one is sitting on the fence but 2 look great. So now to wait for Saturdays day 3 phone call. This waiting after waiting makes this a lot harder than the IUI's where the only waiting I have is the 2ww. Now to stay busy.

Only just noticed this sorry. I've never spotted after scan, but it really wouldn't surprise me tbh.

I had egg collection in September and my fertility specialist also decided to do half ICSI half natural. His explanation was some peoples eggs will fertilise better by themselves and some will require ICSI, doing 50/50 is like having your hand in two baskets. My parter had a normal sperm count.

My u/s the week before egg collection show 45 follicles over 10mm
    Epu the got 31 eggs
Of the16 eggs left to natural fertilisation 15 fertilised (lost 1)
Of the 15 ICSI they said 4 were immature (lost 4) and 7 fertilised (lost another 4)
    At day 3 I still had 22 alive (21 at 6 cells) and ( 1 at 10 cells)
Day 5 blastocyst that survived being frozen was 12.

I would love to find out how many of my final 12 were natural or ICSI

    Me: 27 DH: 27
Ttc since August '13. Diagnosed PCOS February '14
No ovulation on 50mg, 100mg and 150mg of clomid
    DH has good swimmers
Sept 1st: 31 eggs collected 28 fertilised and 12 frosties. (Half ICSI)
1st transfer cancelled due to OHSS awaiting FET October

@Sally girl amazing numbers. I'm in a similar situation with follicle count and the ICSI to be safe. I hope I come close to that.
