Sorry off topic but what is the difference between family room and lounge room?
I guess in the big houses that have lots of different sitting areas you have to distinguish.

As PP said for larger homes you have to distinguish, but some of the terms are probably interchangeable, it's just how individual families name their rooms... we have a family room, play room, lounge room, theatre room and library/sitting room.

We have the same, they are all within the same room though

2, one in bedroom where we have a fetch box and one in the lounge room where it's more for DVDs.

We have 3. 1 in the living area, 1 in our bedroom and 1 in the family/play room (only for DVDs).

I just want to point out, a lot of people are saying things like "one, but it's barely ever on" etc.
We have 3, and they're on often. We also are very fit, healthy and active, out of the house every day, but we love our tv and we watch lots of it, and have absolutely zero guilt about it!

A French business man once said that TV channels had only one purpose : to sell available brain time to advertisers.

Pretty spot on! It made such a buzz, people were arms up in the air because he was leading a TV channel and was finally saying out loud that they don't care about contents, they only care about making us not think and addicted to shows.
