Oh gosh are you serious? Watching TV and being fit are not mutually exclusive.

Would you like a step ladder to get off that high horse?

    Wow really.

That is the sort of apology that would have my kids punishment double or tripled.

Better not to give a bulldust apology than to give one and than punch someone in the face while your doing it.

Sorry you brought out the mum in me.

Yup, 'heartfelt apologies" totally believe that one.

You'll note by the other responses that it wasn't a misinterpretation issue.. it was a mis-delivery issue...

I clean my dishes watching West Wing, and yes I agree.

I believe TV is alright. It's up to each family to decide what level that is appropriate for them and their comfort levels. DS knows we watch a lot of documentaries, it was something that was instilled in me by my parents and grandparents and I see nothing wrong with it, for us.

I don't associate violent imagery in communication over something so trivial with great mothering, but that's just me.

Lol love how even the simple threads can turn into a poo fight!

we have a TV in the lounge room that gets turned on in the morning and off when we go to bed, dd1 has one in her room and dp and I have 3 in ours. Admittedly one is our old 40" that is just being stored in there, another is the old box style that hadn't been turned on in years and the 3rd is one we borrowed from mil to see how it fits because dp wants another TV for when he gets a ps4 so he can play it in bed and thinks that size would be good. Even though he doesn't yet have a ps4 and by the time he gets one mil will want her TV back and he may use the ps3 in bed at the moment but unless he turns that fn thing down or days since head phones he has another thing coming! (A grumpy me!)

Wow, now insinuating someone you've never met isnt a good mother. Way to go.

Ah yes, if you choose to see it that way, I accept all blame for your perceived slight, no worries, peace out, have a great afternoon chastising people on the internet
