    Default Wish me luck!

Tonight DH has gone out with friends and I'm on my own with both kids. It's the first time I've had to do dinner/bath/bed on my own since DS was born 12 weeks ago. Wish me luck!

So far so good... DS went down easily for a sleep and DD and I have just finished dinner. Feeling fairly good so far which is good considering my anxiety has been a little high today.

Well done! 2 kids is such a challenge! My DH works away & DD will be about 6 weeks when he goes away for the first time since she was born... DS is 20 months... I am not looking forward to it at all! Terrified even!

I would be terrified too! It can be a real juggle. DS is a fairly 'good' baby but it's still hard with a 3yo to wrangle. I don't know how people do it with more than 2!

Me too! I'm one of 6 & my Dad often worked away... Since becoming a Mum I am even more amazed at my mums ability! After being pregnant with a toddler I don't know how she was pregnant that many times with other kids to wrangle!

Good luck! I remember how scared I was when dh went back to work a few days after dd4 was born.... it was just me and 4 kids for 3 weeks and I failed miserably lol. You are off to a good start!

Well I did it. Both were fed, bathed and in bed by 8:30, which was pretty good really! Especially given DS is rarely asleep before 9pm. I even managed a quick pump after they were asleep to add to my EBM supply.
