    After the first one I started going for small walks (to the shops etc 2-5kms) from about 2 weeks and after the second one from about 3 weeks (doing the same as the first). Didn't start properly exercising until after my 6 week check.

    Started walking with the pram as soon as I got home from hospital. Went back to gym when bubs was allowed in the crèche (I think that was 8 weeks).

    This was the case with both of my c sections.

    Not anything more strenuous than walking until after my 8 week check with OB.

    Walking with pram from about 8 days post op. Back to gym doing body pump after 6 week OB clearance. But I continued personal training at the gym until 39 weeks pregnant so I was able to maintain my fitness quite well and believe this may have helped my recovery.

    Gentle walks should be ok from around 2 weeks depending on your level of fitness prior, but make sure you don't have significant abdominal separation before doing anything too strenuous (a woman's Physio can check this and give you special exercises to do).
