I am getting my almost 3 month old and 2.5 yr old vaxed tomorrow. Might be expensive but I will never forgive myself if one or both of them got it And there is a vax available.

Ideally, I would like for my children to have the Menin. B vaccine, but it all comes down to cost. I have 4 children, at two doses each, that's a LOT of money, so it's not going to happen just yet. It will be a case of getting them done as we can, rather than getting them all done together.

I was *really* hoping that this vaccine would be put on the PBS, but unfortunately, it was decided not to.

Yep, DS has had 2 doses so far (one still to go). The cost of the vaccine was about $150/dose (WA), plus cost to visit the doctor for the prescription, then again for the jab. Our PHI hasn't given us anything back so far, but I'm going to chase them up because I thought it should be covered under the "pharmaceuticals" part of the policy.

Any age is fine - might just change how many they need and time between. GP will be able to give you specific details for your childrens' ages.

I haven't had DS done. He's due for his 18 month shots soon so I figured we'd do them all together.
Is that doable or is it recommended to do it separately?
