Default 9mo suddenly changed her routine

As of the last couple of weeks my dd has started dropping her arvo nap. She used to wake at 6am nap at 9am nap at 2pm and go to sleep for the night at 5:30-6pm. Now it's wake at 6am nap at 9am sleep for the night at 4:30pm??!! I try to make her have a nap at 2 and she just babbles away in her cot for an hour no sleep at all then by 4:30pm she's falling asleep so I put her down thinking it's going to be a nap and she's out cold all night? I'm struggling to change it she just won't! She's awake from 11am till 4:30!! Any ideas or just go with it?

As bub gets bigger bub needs more awake time. Try pushing the first day nap back by 20 minutes- half an hour. Then put bub down for the second nap 3 hours after waking (if bub won't sleep try 3 hrs 20 mins after wakin etc) Don't let bub sleep past 3:15pm if you want bedtime to be 6pm. This may mean the second nap is shorter.

    Good luck

Thanks so much for replying vicpark! So far she woke at 6am she has had a milk feed and brekky and is just playing with toys in the lounge room as we speak. No signs of tiredness yet which by now she would be wanting a top up and put down but she's happy just crawling around playing. So far so good! Going to give a top up feed now and see if she will go down. Morning sleep has never been an issue we will wait and see what happens after lunch! Going to try your steps today and see what happens! Thanks so much!
