Default Is this a weird symptom?

    Hi all

The past 2-3 days (im approx 5w1d according to my dates dating scan not until the 31st oct)
But I've been feeling a 'tightening' sensation in my lower abdomen.
It's not painful, it's really just a strange feeling. What could this be?
It's on and off, I have had no other dramas such as bleeding etc.

Sounds like things stretching. All the muscles etc relax during pregnancy so its probably what you are feeling

Dr told me your uterus goes from the size of an avocado to size of a rockmelon by 10 weeks so could def be stretching. Congrats

Hey I'm 5-6 weeks (not sure exactly, seeing doctor tomorrow) and my main symptom has been the gentle cramps/pulling/twingey feeling. I've googled like crazy and it seems to be normal to experience cramps that feel like mild menstrual cramps around now. Hope this helps put you at ease so long as they're not super painful it should be ok.
