    @clucky_duck I just had my internal us today and it was fine. The "implement" is reasonably narrow, plus because I am so close to O I have a lot of CM to help it along . If it's really painful, they might not be putting enough lube on it.
    @sydney1980 I'm so sorry Hun.
    @Mahalia27 I'm on my first tracking cycle which has cost me $385 (I think I will get about $180 back) and it includes all my blood tests, appointments and u/s this cycle. If I need medication next cycle, I will pay approx $385 again plus whatever the meds cost. This will again include all the bloods etc.

    AFM: u/s showed a good sized dominant follicle, got my first +ve OPK today and the LH surge was backed up by the blood test. I have been "ordered" to have intercourse for the next 3 days, my poor V is going to feel so bruised

    Well my one they used was huge!! So not sure if it was outdated or something. Oh that would help with the cm. hopefully I don't have to have another but probs will.
    GP was ok...gave me the referral and explained cycles a bit to me which I did know about (Uni degree in health) but he said stress could def be the reason it's later this month. Anywya, very much looking fwd to see Dr Murphy next Tues for a specialist's opinion.

    Oh no, sorry to hear that. 😢 Hugs for you. Enjoy some soft cheese & wine to make yourself feel better. xx
    @Mahalia27 I think it depends on we're you go but yes, they can be very costly. We've only seen our FS twice & had my cycle tracked & DH's sperm analysis & it's already cost us over $1000! 😖 Not sure how much I got back from Medicare but it'd less than $300 I'd guess.

    AFM 7dpo today & trying desperately not to symptom spot! I'm usually so good at being blasé during this time but I can feel how desperately I really want it this month & so every little thing I'm trying hard not to analyze. BUT if you want to know (I know you do @tazz475!) I've got sore boobs, quite a lot of CM & been peeing heaps today. I've also thought I felt a bit crampy, but that could have been hunger pains cos it was before dinner. 😄 Pleeeeeeease be promising signs body! Please!

    Ladies can I join? I'm 11dpo (I think) and tested today - bfn. So hanging out til Friday. I've been off the depo since February and have only really been paying attention to my cycles for the last few months.

    Have been symptom spotting already, it's terrible!! Felt so sick this morning, I thought I'd have a bfp for sure. Might be moving over to December already

    Oh god I really really hope so! I'm so tired of the stress of trying, counting days & tracking cycles & peeing on sticks. But I'm going to wait on testing until the weekend, then I'll be 11dpo & 12dpo. I hate seeing the stark white emptiness of a BFN so don't want to test any earlier. 😕

    Just curious - a question for those seeing a FS. Does every appt cost you and every blood test/ultrasound as well? This is our next step and I guess I'm wondering if we need to be putting money away to pay for the appointments!
    Each appt costs yes, mine are about $150.
    Usually if you're doing a tracking cycle you will pay for the cycle itself not for individual tests. My tracking cycle cost $150 (I think? It was a while ago...) and the cost didn't change no matter if tests were added.
