    Yes I get it too. It actually has a name. I can't spell it as it's German, but it's something like Metalschmertz. It means Middle pain. It's not tgat uncommon at all, I have a few friends who suffer with it, some months are worse for me than others.
    I have four kids by the way, so it definitely didn't effect my fertility.

    I never did until maybe half way through last year. Actually the cycle I fell pregnant with dd4 on was my first painful ovulation experience. Since then (well obviously since she was born 5 months ago), I get horrific pain ovulation pain. Its reached a point the last 2 times that I cant even move out of bed because of the pain, codine tablets take the edge off but its still super painful. I hate it ive never had issues with fertility either.
    My mum also suffers the same sort of thing but she has a lot of issues in with her ovaries/tubes/uterus.
