    Default What to wear?

    Evening

Seems we are going to a black tie event at the end of November.

So what do I wear?? Does it have to be long? Is cocktail length okay?

I am short (pretty short) and not skinny size 14-16.

Once my uni exam is over next week I will go low carb. I get bad brain fog for the first seven days or so which is a bad idea for my exam.

    Help???

I am sort of excited as I get to dress up, but I am also worried because I don't know what to wear

That said I do have some shoes I want to wear! So something to go with my shoesShoes.jpg

I would say knee length can be acceptable for black tie if it's the right style of dress, i.e. formal fabric, cut and style rather than anything summery.

    The shoes are gorgeous

I would think full length, yes. Not full on ball gown but full length and elegant. And given your shoes (which are absolutely gorgeous btw!!!), I would go something simple and dress it up with a bit of bling....

(Just did some googling of black tie dresses size 14-16 and these are some that popped up...)

Thanks guys. I might go and have a look next week at what is around.

Does anyone know any good priced, decent online shops?
