I only ever take my rings off to have a shower. I hate rings being too tight so I'm paranoid they'll slip off when my hands are soapy and go down the drain! I wear them to bed, mine is a high setting and I scratch DH sometimes, but I tell him that's his fault for getting me such a nice ring haha

I never take mine off. I'd lose it for sure! I never take off my watch or bracelets either.

Congratulations on your engagement! I don't wear my rings to bed as I'd probably scratch my face or something. I leave mine on my computer desk along with my watch and glasses.

I have to take mine off sometimes because of dermatitis so I use a hook I placed on the ensuite mirror. It's high enough that the kids don't reach it and it reminds me to put it back on in the morning

My engagement ring lives in the safe. I only wear every once in a while so I feel a much more comfortable if I know it's locked up. My wedding ring and other jewellery that I wear comes off every night. I have a jewellery box on my dresser that I put them into.

Congratulations! I'm recently engaged too! In the week or so I've had it, my ring comes off every night before a shower and goes into the ring box on my bedside table.
I put it back on when I've had my morning shower.

I get started getting dermatitis under my ring too, so I've been wearing it on my necklace instead. Does taking it off during things like dishes/showers/bed etc actually help? /:

@BatmansMama I found it does help - less exposure for the skin to the ring plus it stops soap/detergent getting under there and causing more irritation. I use gloves when washing up and now use a soap-free hand wash which helps too. I also get the rhodium plating (for white gold) re-done every 6-12 months which helps heaps.
