    Default Engagement ring question...

Do you take your engagement ring off overnight? If yes, where do you keep it.

I just got engaged this weekend 😊❀️

Usually I never wear jewellery except earrings over night. I had a ring I used to wear during the day that I took off and put on the bathroom bench over night and never though twice about it as it wasn't very expensive and if something happened to it it was easily replaceable. Now that I have my engagement ring I feel weird leaving it on the bathroom bench, like it's not safe or something.

What do you do with your rings?

My rings only ever come off when they need cleaned, or I'm making dough or something.

my jewellery usually goes on my bedside table. That said, my little Miss 3 likes to play with EVERYTHING she shouldnt, so lately I've been putting it up on the chest of drawers in my bedroom where she cant yet reach.

My engagement ring comes off most nights and goes in our safe. I used to just leave it on my bedside table, but DD started picking it up and when we moved house 6 months ago I had to get it valued for insurance (first time I'd done that) and the valuation came back insanely high! So much more than we'd paid for it (had it made). So since then, it goes it a safe when it's not on my finger.

Congratulations! I take mine off at night and they go on the bed side table and then I put them back on when I wake up. I also have a little dish on the kitchen bench where they go when I'm cooking - although I'm less careful about that these days and often forget to take them off until they're already covered in dough or whatever lol. I also always take them of when I shower but I put them straight back on again after.

I don't wear my engagement ring or wedding ring at all (and neither does dh), but when I did I always took it off for a shower and it stayed in the bathroom or on my bed head until the morning.

This! Mine only comes off for certain things like cooking ( rissoles, dough) and to be cleaned. I would be to scared of loosing it.

My sister takes hers off and she has a little box on her bedside table to put it in, much harder to loose the box than the tiny ring.

I have a little box with a lid on my bedside table where I put my rings when I go to bed. I don't like wearing them when I sleep because sometimes my fingers swell a bit and I find it uncomfortable, especially in summer, and now I'm pregnant.

I only take my wedding and engagement rings off in late pregnancy when my fingers swell. Otherwise on 24/7.

I "misplaced" mine so many times but was luckily always found. Once was found in the rubber door part of my washing machine (as I always put it in my pocket to wash up after getting excema under it).
I now have 3 of those ugly (but very useful) glass ring holders in bedroom kitchen and bathroom so they go on there
