Default Bleeding 4 weeks after stillborn?

    Hi all,

I had two stillborn twins about a month ago via c-section.

I had the usual bleeding after giving birth, however at exactly a month to the day, had bright red bleeding.

Is this still post-partum bleeding or my period returning?

    Thanks in advance.

Oh sweetheart I'm so, so sorry Huge hugs!
Yeah it's still postpartum bleeding I'd say. I bled for a few months after having my baby by c section 5 months ago.

Hugs. If you haven't been as active and then suddenly start doing more that can sometimes cause your bleeding to get heavy again.

Wow, big hugs, that is huge.

Mine came back about 5w after my last CS. Could be either! Our bodies can be very unpredictable after pregnancy.

I hope that you are being well looked after by an excellent family and support network.

    I'm so sorry
I only bled for 2 weeks after my c-section, 4 weeks later I had my period return, I only knew it was my period when the bleeding came back the next month.

I'm so so sorry to hear about your twins we lost our first born son in 2007 at 39wks (I didnt have a c section though) and my bleeding would seem like it was finishing, then come back bright red again. It did it a couple of times, I went back to the doctor and ended up having to have a curette for retained placenta about 6wks after his birth (this was not what I wanted after already loosing our son) but I would think with having a c section it would be harder to have retained placenta?
