oh yes this is me 100%. I hate being cuddled or touched in any way at sleep time. We can be amorous, but once it's over get on your side and don't touch me

i dont have time to list everything

    but the main ones are;

do things the way i do them or dont do them at all. and then when you dont do them at all, i'll get up on the highest horse i can find and get up at you about how i do everything.

    read my mind or gtfo.

Well so far everyone seems totally passable...

And @delirium I don't know why but your use of the word 'amorous' has given me the giggles something chronic. I keep picturing like Pepe le Pew or something.

It reminds me of the Simpsons ep where Homer says to Marge "are you feeling amorous?" Marge: "No" Homer: "well good night then!!".

    Lol...poor DH.

    - certain foods I have to eat in a certain way. Like kit-kats Nibble off the ends, then the sides then the wafers.
    - don't expect me to leave the house if I haven't had a shower.
    - don't ever pack/unpack my dishwasher. You will get it wrong & I will think grumpy thoughts about you until I have found everything you put in the wrong spot & fixed it.
    - if there is lots of background noise or I am reading etc I will not hear you. Make sure you have my attention first unless you want to repeat yourself.
    - I will read books over & over. Just don't question it, it is a comfort thing.
    - don't always expect me to sit next to you. I like my space sometimes.
    - I must wear pajamas to be able to sleep.
    - and don't ever expect me to stay in bed once I am awake. I just can't snooze/do nothing. And once I'm up, I'm up.

Everything must be in its place... As soon as you're off the lounge, I'm straightening the scatter cushions and you will rarely see a crooked bath mat or hand towel.

I buy way too many clothes and shoes.

I refuse to leave the house without makeup.

I'm insanely impatient and if you don't do things the moment that I ask, I'll start muttering about it while going on a cleaning rampage.

I thrive on punctuality. You wouldn't dare be late to a date.

I'm opinionated and stubborn. Don't even bother explaining your opinion, it's wrong and you will know about it.

I'm selfish and a bit of a spoilt brat. If it's mine and I want it, I'm having it!

If I don't like what you're listening to or watching, I'll talk the whole way through it

    Wow this is me exactly!

I would find it extremely difficult living with another person at this point - I like to do things only when I feel like going them and am inflexible in that sense as I've gotten older.

In the past I was way too lax about things though and that probably worked against me in relationships. What I see is that men tend to like difficult women. The most high maintenance women I know have devoted partners who seem to both love and hate their 'impossible' wives/partners! Lol maybe it reminds them of their mummy's?

If I had to date myself:
The washing would be done right (hung on the line correctly and folded properly) and the dishes would get thoroughly cleaned.

The bottom of the blankets would stay tucked in throughout the night.

Sport would never be watched or spoken about.

Random crap will not be hoarded and clutter the spare cupboards.

But there would be no food since a) I'm lazy and wouldn't go shopping and b) it'll get eaten within two days.

I think it would start amazing but then I'd get bored I guess.
