Default Jetstar Brisbane to Hawaii yes or no

We are thinking of going a day early when we head over to America next year and stopping over in Hawaii for a night to help with the jet lag. Has anyone flown with Jetstar on a international flight? What was it like because I know Jetstar domestic can be quiet crowded and uncomfortable

Subbing. We're going to LA I wondered about breaking the flight up in Hawaii too.

I did jetstar from Sydney to Hawaii and I was very pleasantly surprised - nothing like jetstar domestic which is good - but honestly with customs, security, check in, check out it's not worth the drama for one night - LA is a long flight but if you try fly at night the kids will sleep through hopefully and you will get their sooner!

L.A was just a stopover for us because we are headed to San Diego and their are direct flights from Hawaii to there so that's why we were thinking of doing it that way

We did Jetstar sydney to Hawaii and it was fine, in fact if you booked Qantas you would be on the Jetstar flight. I prepaid our food and blanket/pillow etc and it was still cheaper and no different to any other economy flight.

I've also done Sydney -LA on Virgin. 14 1/5 hours and it was just too long. Though Hawaii is 10 hours so it's not half way. Maybe if you had the time and money break it up, but you are only saving 4 hours.

Virgin is our first choice and really have no problem paying the little extra we just thought a little stopover in Hawaii might be nice so that's why we were thinking of taking Jetstar

We flew Jetstar Gold Coast to Tokyo two weeks ago in Business Class and it was awesome and I'd fly Business Class with them again but I wouldn't fly long haul in economy as they looked so crammed in
