    Default Skin tags

Hi just wondering if anyone has had skin tags and if they have any home remedies of removing them? I've been seeing duct tape as an option often..anyone tried this?

Apple cider vinegar is meant to remove skin tags. Me and dh have just used it to remove moles. It works a treat!
If you google it you should find results.
I only had 1 mole that I wanted removed but first made sure with my gp it wasn't cancerous. I used apple cider vinegar everyday for 20 mins (soaked abit of cotton then applied bandaid to keep in place) it took about 10 days for mine to fall off. Dh took 5 days and he has removed two. Scarring is minimal too.
Dh had 1 removed by gp previously and he has a decent scar from it.

I've herd about apple cider vinegar, Does it's affect the surrounding skin at all? Might have to give that one a try

@Okjook I used paw paw ointment around surrounding skin as it can irritate your skin. Vaseline would also work.

Im lucky I haven't got any skin tags with both my pregnancies though the mole I got rid of got really raised from the skin which annoyed me. The things we go through hey!

I went to the dr about a month ago to have one removed because it was huge- like a 3rd arm! Well, ok I exaggerate a bit!

He got some suture line and tied it really very tightly at the base. Tool maybe 2-3 weeks to fall completely off. It was a little painful but I think because mine was so large.

I have heard people say just tie dental floss around the base, so I suppose it would have the same effect.

Mine all disappeared eventually after my first two pregnancies.

Hopefully the same thing happens this time...
