Great suggestions, thanks! Tangled looks promising and I'll look up some of the others too.

The Gruffalo and the Gruffalo's Child is on Sunday night on abc. It's such a lovely story and DS (2 this month) is obsessed! And then you can read the books too

This is a frozen house as well. Tinkerbell is also just as big of a hit. There are a few movies in the series. One that is similar to frozen is Tinkerbell and the secret of the wings. Dd2 LOVES Tinkerbell and the pirate fairy mostly because she loves boats, fairies and pirates.

I am not sure whether others kids might find them scary, but my 2.5yo boys love a bit of Ponyo, Kikis Delivery Service and Totoro- from the same people who did Spirited Away and Howel's Moving castle. Neither of them find it scary but that is us. They are beautiful movies IMO, I think they are hand drawn, i know at least they are storyboarded hand drawn in watercolour, lovely visually. Not everyone's cup of a tea but I find them a nice change from all the Disney now and then!

Gruffalo is another favourite, same as Land Before time! Also Mary Poppins...although sometimes mummy hides that one...sorry boys!
