@delirium - oestrogen is usually at around 800 when it's ready to pop an egg out of a follie. A bit to go still. Sigh.

    Hi all,
So got a question, I caught up with a friend today - she said she has a blocked Fallopian tube & may need surgery. Anyone know anything about this? I feel like someone on here was writing about it - apologies not sure who it was

Hey AJ, the test to check for blockages is a hycosy ultrasound where they put a dye through the tubes to check for blockages but you can get false positives as the tubes can spasm and show a blockage that isn't really there. A mild blockage can be flushed out but a major blockage that damages the tube and/or a hydrosalpinx often needs tube removal. I've had both tubes removed (1 ruptured in an ectopic and the other had a hydrosalpinx )

I had a HyCosy to check my tubes, so maybe you remembered from then?

Getting them cleared is important to TTC as they can prevent and also cause implantation and carrying issues.

Oh, my update: numbers are going backwards. Oestrogen went from 273 to 189.

Bumping up the dosage to 100 now.

Sorry to hear that @Shrillian. 😢 Hope the increased dose helps!

Hi @Lizard! DH is on Menevit (FS request) & also Vit C, CoQ10 & Vit E, all of which came from our research into whether they help sperm quality/motility etc. The main change he has made is to stop having hot baths. He is English so has that weird fetish some Brits have where they have to have steaming hot baths ALL the time! 😂 It's killing him not having them, but he knows it's for a good cause. 👍 Has your DH tried anything to improve his results?

@AJsyd, the HSG I just had on Friday also shows blocked tubes & can be used to clear them with the dye if it isn't too bad. Must be the same thing as a hycosy? The Dr performing it said they just push a bit harder with the dye if they see the tubes need clearing & it can be a bit uncomfortable for some people. They didn't need to do it to me luckily. Perhaps she's already had this though anyway to know her tubes are blocked? I'm not sure what happens from there though, sorry.
