He's still getting used to the carrier, I havent managed to get him to go to sleep in it yet

Ive managed to feed to sleep this time so hopefully he'll sleep for awhile on my lap, & hopefully I can do it again

Btw dont you ladies who hold your sleeping baby or use a carrier get hot? Its pretty warm here & if ds is on me for a long period of time im worried about him overheating

I never had that problem. DS was only a newborn and it was winter. Sorry bout that!
Have u got a swing or bouncer? I know it's not ideal but it could work for now. I also had one if those bean bag things? Used to be good for a nap during the day. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1412213754.330325.jpg I got it from target. It worked for a short sleep while I rested next to him.

I might look at trying one of those bean bags.

He sometimes sleeps in his rocker but not always

The bean bags are good I reckon. DS used to get comfy and then with some gentle rocking he went to sleep.
Also my DS loves music, I pretty much have it on all day (mainly as background noise) but it did help to calm him down when he started getting upset from being so tired.

That used to really put DS to sleep. He just knew when he got swaddled it was sleep time. I know how hard it is best luck I had when DS was going was cuddling but like u said it's getting hot now. Have u tried maybe using a pillow on the lounge while u sit with him?
