I am a good mum because I am tying. Every day I try to do the best that I can to raise the best people that I can. Ok I just try and be better than the day before. But at least I am trying to give them the best of me. Even when the days are hard, I still get up the next day and try again. (That's what I am trying to tell myself but OP you are right we are so hard on ourselves all the time and it's unfortunately easier that being kind to ourselves, especially when we feel other people judging us).

Bc I put them first a vast majority of the time
I give them all their needs and many of their wants
I gave up smoking when I found out I was pg which was huge for me
I love my kids unconditionally for who they are
I only want happiness for them
I can acknowledge I'm not perfect and strive to do better

I'm a good mum because I always try to provide the best for my son. I prioritise quality time with him, always tell him I love him and give him lots of cuddles.

Because I can recognise when I need to take a step back and a deep breath. I really struggle when things get on top of me but I'm good at putting the tv on and going to have a coffee.

I am the complete opposite of my mother. I have learnt from my experience and determined to be better.

(She's a great Nanna but was not a good mother).

I am a good mother because I encourage their independence and let them learn to do things for themselves without hovering over them

I'm a good mum because even though I don't want to I get out of bed everyday take dd to the park and a walk in pram when I'm so exhausted.

I'm a good mum even if she eats topping off pizza or junk food is food as long as she's eating that's a goal. I'm a good mum for teaching her love, care & responsibilities.

Same here... except my mum is a crap nanna too

If I had to name just one thing that I thought was top of the list for making a good parent, it's recognising mistakes and attempting to do better.
