We have two Piggies, a Mother and daughter (Rosetta and Petal) the girls named them and both long haired. I will have to take some pics for this thread (once I have them all bathed and lovely ) they are outside in a pen that my Dad lovingly hand made for them and our girls just love them to bits, though I am the muggins that cleans out their pen and does all the 'work'.

When I buy the shampoo I think I will look for some clippers too, as I noticed their claws getting a little too long and I am pretty sure I read somewhere that you have to clip them (can you tell I'm a novice Piggie owner).

I need to bath ours too... I'm so happy that our two babies and our adult piggy all come up to the door in their cages now at the end of the day for their dinner... so cute!

Also, our babies, I place their food dish in one of the corners of their cage, and yesterday morning when I went out to check them, their dish was empty and they had pushed the dish to the front of the cage to where their door is, clever little piggies!

@Uniquey, mine get their nails clipped every 6wks. I dont let them go any more than that as they get quite long/sharp.

Naww, that's adorable, I never realised how clever Piggies really are until we got some, they really are a smart animal.

Here are my baby boys Popcorn and Blaize. Blaize seems more chilled than Popcorn as he is happy to sit and be patted where Popcorn wants to know whats going on. They both love getting their chin rubbed but Popcorn likes it a lil bit more.

Gave mine some silver beet today and they loved it but just read that they should only have it 1-2 times a month...

    Gonna try some capsicum later...

@babylove81, dont think i have fed mine silverbeet yet. Atm they are loving beans so getting beans everyday as well as watermelon as they love the rind of it.

I have also found with capsicum, green is their favourite. They arent too fond of the red and have only bought the yellow a couple of times quite some time ago so cant remember how they went on that.
