Hi everyone, what is the reasonable, going rate for agent's commission in NSW for selling a house? We are just considering our options. Looking to sell our house that has had rapid capital growth in the last 4 years- Sydney South. Does the selling price (eg: $1 million as opposed to $200 000, for example) make a difference to the commission rate eg: do commission rates go down? Is 1.5-1.8% feasible? Also, are there any added extras, such as Domain online entry, colour printed flyers, or is that included in the commission? Are there any added extras? We are not considering going to auction, but rather, have a campaign with 'offers over X$', as that is working in our area at the moment. I am hoping Elijahs mum is out there! Thanks in advance.
