@Sue77 I really don't want to spend all that money for someone to say it's inconclusive. Ivf is expensive as it is so I would rather risk not testing and allowing myself another 2 or 3 more transfers for that money.
(It would be great for someone to say 'you have 3 perfect blasts' but that's no guarantee they will take

We have 8 embryos left and lynn did say there is a risk if they are thawed that we might not have all 8 again.

She is trying a more natural ovulation cycle with me next FET (with gonal f) and no steroids or clexane.
    See what happens.
If this cycle fails in jan/feb I'm going to ask for a double transfer.

Yeah let's hope 2015 is our year! Lynn sent me off to do blood works to see what's going on with me.
That's one thing I really like about Lynn. She's only at arms length away for anything! No matter how busy she is her office team are awesome.
Re: tcm thing. Hoping I haven't screwed myself over by trying so hard. Was hoping to begin another IVF cycle in jan/feb. Doubt that will happen.
i just need to relax and that's easily said so bloody hard to action!
I need to get Christmas shopping done. Have a great day ladies.

Oh and about the double transfers. I only ever had doubles transferred with mivf. They were all bfn. My failures were put down to abnormal chromosomes and old eggs at mivf.
Hence why I'm on the journey to revive them.

Re: TCM, I know a lot of people use Richard, but have you considered Bump? They specialise in fertility / pregnancy support and are at (or close to) most Monash locations. They are also very well informed about infertility / ivf meds (since they work so close with Monash) and don't recommend any herbs during IVF.

I used to go elsewhere for acupuncture, but have just started with them and am quite impressed. They have good hours too. Anyway, just a thought.

Default Lynn Burmeister Monash IVF-feedback wanted please #4

I haven't considered bump. But I will look into it. Thanks for that.
I need to solve this current mess I'm in before I move forward.
Richard did say this has never happened to him before. He kept telling me my body obviously has some issues.
Was regular before tcm now I'm a mess.
I too lost confidence in TCM and acupuncture. Three months of religiously brewing herbs and following it advise down to a tea resulted in me here with no period with now a totally messed up cycle.

It did cost a fortune too. Which I overlooked cause it was me and the hubby on herbs and weekly acupuncture.

But I will wait to see blood result and see what Lynn can do to bring me back to life. Fingers crossed!

@lileitak I will be starting acupuncture again in the new year - used to go to richard but I can't concentrate there - are the rooms quiet at bump?

I went to the one in Clayton because it's near my work, and I wouldn't call it quiet. But I did go at 5:30 which is probably peak, and was in the very first room next to reception.

I too am easily distracted, and was able to zone out. The lady in the room next to me was actually snoring, lol.

I'm sure you could request a quieter room away from the door, or try to book at a less busy time. Most are open until 7 week nights and on Saturdays, which is great.

@Cevapa I saw Richard at coburg. That was fairly quiet. I too will reconsider acupuncture in the new year depending how things pan out for me at the present!

It wasn't disruptive to the point where I was annoyed... and I sometimes annoy easily.

Hope you are all well this week

Thought I'd throw in my 2 cents worth re: TCM @ladysexbomb I too got messed around from doing accupuncture. My AF would arrive each 28th day on the dot each month, almost to the hour like clockwork for years and years and as soon as I started acupuncture those 12 weeks my period was coming on day 32. Each month I would think - I'm never late - could I be pregnant? I wasn't of course and when I brought this up with accupuncturist he yelled at me and said 'you cant expect to have regular periods all your life' he yelled at me all the time, such a grizzly man. This was right before trying my 1st IVF cycle. As soon as I stopped my periods went back to 28 days. So I am not blaming TCM as I know it helps many people tremendously but it was the only thing I was doing differently. My health issues are too severe for accupuncture to be of much use and in between being told off each appointment and sitting in traffic post appointments, after 12 weeks I was over it so decided to stop. I didn't choose some random TCM, this man has a long wait list, over 23 years experience and came recommended by a few people who have struggled with infertility and now have kids so his skill level was there.

I am willing to try anything and spend any amount of money if it helps but I just wasn't enjoying it and neither was my body.
