Just got the call - zero fertilized. They said the quality was pretty compromised.

Oh Kelly I don't know what to say. It's crushing after how much work you put into this. Are donor eggs from OS an option?

    I don't think so @LilPily - maybe if I had a partner.

Yeah I'm not there yet. I need a break now this year but I'm hoping Lynn will try something different with me next year. I'm a bit worried about the length of the stim for this one.. Age is def a factor but I thought I should have gotten to transfer maybe 1 at least.

I'm so sorry @Kelly70... Must be gutting. Like you said, this cycle was 3 more than the last, so I'm sure Lynn will have something in store for the new year. xx

Thanks for the kind wishes all! Will let you know I go tomorrow.

@Kelly70 just saw your update now. I am so so sorry to hear this devastating news. It's just not fair. I know in the back of our minds we brace ourselves for the worst but to have it actually happen is such a blow. Very upset for you love. SO hard to have hopes dashed. So crushing. Have a rest and start the new year afresh. 2015 will bring us better luck xx

Perhaps Lynn let you stim and keep going as there was a chance things could have turned out different even though there were risks the eggs would be compromised, by cancelling the result would have been the same for the month but you have been put through the wringer nevertheless. If you can, take a mental day off tomorrow. Sending you much love xx

@lileitak I'm expecting some records in terms of egg haul numbers to be broken (no pressure or anything) you most likely be sore afterwards but drugs do help. Sending you very speedy healing vibes
