    @straycat and everyone else - apologies for not coming back to you - I have my own thread and it gets kinda busy!

    I have had my first 2 scans and I actually have 2 follies on my left ovary that are going along slowly but they are growing. This is an improvement for me as I generally only get one follicle. Seeing two on my left (which has not responded at all in past cycles, was always the right) was good news for me! The nurses mentioned canceling as Lynn may think she can get a better result for me but I've insisted on going ahead for a few reasons: 1. this is my best response so far 2. I want to see if the right kicks in 3. I've invested 1.5k in hgh (and prob more to come yet) 4. This will be my last medicated cycle this year if it fails - 4 medicated cycles in 6 months and I'm beat. I want a couple months off to enjoy life again and will start again in the new year.

    Next scan is Thurs.

    Massive hugs to you all.

    Oh BTW. Zoladex is also a chemotherapy drug, yup, I am putting my body into early menopause and poisoning it. Dare I say I hope it works?! anyway.. a side effect is hair loss. Now I have to go hunt for a wig too? FML.
    Straycat I'm early menopause also from all this Ivf. How old are you? I'm 39. My hair has been falling out for years in clumps. I remember being in the mining camp for Max's cycle and honestly thinking I was dying as it was coming out in fist fulls and all over the back of my hi vis shirt. I used to have to take it off about 5 times a day to pick it all off gross. It's hard core hey but your drugs take it to the next level and I take my hat off to you xx

    @straycat thanks hunny 😘
    I'm so glad you're starting to feel a sense of normality again. It's so easy to start losing ourselves in this journey. Although 'forced', I hope your break does wonders for your hun, batteries recharged, & next year a wonderfully positive one for you xxx

    I accidentally came across an article about IVF in UK when I was reading the paper online. Lynn should glue the embie to us! (Trashy paper I know but hey.. always something new to read)
