Of course! I just turned 30 and this is our first cycle. Is all very foreign to me and reading some of the threads on this site just makes me feel sooo unprepared! I'm sure we will all be fine, and will become experts too

I stocked up on vitamins yesterday too. Decided to get Blackmores instead due to the cost and ingredients being essentially the same. Resent being overcharged when you add the words pregnancy or fertility to something

And I completely understand staying with Kogarah, just wanted to let you know there are options if you need them

Good luck! Will cross everything for you

    Hi ladies!!

I'm new to this! Would love to hear how you are all getting on.

I'm 28 and this is my first IVF cycle. I did egg pick up earlier this week and got 7 eggs but only 2 fertilised. Now my day 3 embryos are not looking good to make it to day 5.

Bit of a crappy start to ivf. I think next time we're trying ICSI.

@amy111 just reading threads and came across this. Like others have said egg collection is probably the easiest part. I dreaded the injections and my first one I cried for hours before I would let DH do it. Not once did I do it myself I am petrified of needles, but in saying that it does not hurt at all. I had 9 eggs on pick up and by day 5 only 2 made it, one is on ice one is inside and due to be born in Jan 15. I have been one of the lucky ones and my age has probably helped a lot. Good luck it's not as scary as it appears
