    Default blood in urine. ..

    Hi All! Im new to forum chat and 3 weeks pregnant, I had blood test today my progesterone level was 98 and HGC was 798 but I've started to pee pink.. has this happened to anyone else?

    OP, you might have a UTI, so definitely get it checked by a GP, and in the meantime drink heaps of water/stay super hydrated.

    Congrats on your pregnancy and fingers crossed it's not a UTI or anything.

    Thanks all the on call dr called back too, once I drunk a litre of water it cleared up... I have to monitor it today. I hope its nots a UTI, looks like this pregancy will be full of firsts.

    Had you eaten anything pink or red? Beetroot and pink fudge can both make your wee pink. I have seen a few panicked people come into ED thinking they were weeing blood but it actually being from food.
    I eat beetroot chips all the time and it happens to me

    lol really? I ate a heap of beetroot chips yesterday. . I will laugh if that was the cause.

    I bet it's the beetroot. I once freaked that I had internal bleeding/bowel cancer until I remembered the huge chunks of roast beetroot I'd eaten the night before

    If it's stopped now, I'd say beets for sure
