They did warn me about it given the amount of eggs they collected. Should get the phone call today to tell me how many icicle babies we will have. From the 8 that were being grown out, I'm hoping for at least 3-4 to freeze.

Blatant copy/paste from my TTC diary (too lazy to type it out again lol)

1 embryo has made it to freezing stage. Apparently another 3 or 4 (I can't remember which) made it to blastocyst stage but were showing some signs of degeneration so weren't suitable for freezing. The rest didn't even make it to blastocyst stage. Ah well. What will be will be. I'm just glad I had so many eggs to begin with. If I only got, say 2 or 3 eggs how many of them would've survived? Would I even have had one to transfer? To freeze? I can't be disappointed. I just have to be positive and fingers crossed that this embie snuggles down and makes itself at home!

No, I had embryo transfer on Monday. In the dreaded TWW currently. If this doesn't work then we'll look at a FET. I really don't want a December baby though, so if we have to put it off a month then so be it. With any luck though this one will be a sticky and it won't be an issue!

Freezing is an extra $1500ish and each fet (once safety net is reached) is about $800 if I remember correctly. Never had one though sorry so I can't be sure.
