I have a question for you ladies... After your initial medical consult, how long did it take to get going? I had my initial appt and bloods a few months back and DH finally had his bloods done a few weeks ago. We are booked in next week sometime (tues I think). AF is due Christmas Day (yay) so I'm hoping that we can start first cycle of 2016 as I doubt it will work starting straight away AND at Christmas. Does this sound reasonable?

Have you had your activation appt with one of the Dr's yet? Have the nurses spoken to you about taking the pill?

Once you have that Dr's appt you're ready to go. Give them a call before they close for the holidays and book the appt if you haven't already. When I was in a few months ago they said it was very quiet now that they have competition. If you have to take the pill (usually Levlen) I would start on this cycle so that you can start right away after that activation appt. They normally like you to be taking it for 3 weeks so should be able to give you an appropriate appt date. Once stopping it you should be injecting the same week.

For what its worth, both my successful cycles have been during very busy and stressful times where I wasn't able to relax or take a step back and look after myself.

So far I've had the initial appt with the nurse (Leesa) and my bloods taken. DH had had his bloods collected a few weeks back. Drs appt booked in for sometime next week (can't remember the day but I think it's Tuesday). I suffer migraines so they won't put me on the pill. It's more timing of everything I'm not sure of.

I have been going to monash Gold Coast, but long story

He didn't support me seeing a reproductive immune specialist (while doing:needing basic Ivf) so thought I would give these guys a go and save some money
