PHI is useless really. I only have it for obstetrics to go via Mater Mothers because I'm outside the public catchment. I have top hospital corporate cover and for ivf it only covers the day surgery fees.......thats it!! I pay a higher premium so no excess.

I've already had surgery this year so have paid my phi excess for the year so any more hospital stays I don't pay it. So it may be worth me going with life and getting it done this year maybe.....

Just got a call from Leesa :-( out of my 7 eggs we got 3 embryos. 3 eggs were immature and the other didn't fertilise. We got such rubbish ones last time that didn't make it to day 3 so fingers crossed we have something left on Friday.

Well I know I'm not freezing two so either two go back or extras get binned. The new Dr Min is doing my transfer.

3 mature & all fertilised = 100% fertilisation rate. Stay positive, if they were duds they likely wouldn't have fertilised. x

Very good point Pap, I hadn't thought of it that way! ;-) Last cycle we got 6/6 fertilised but 4 were not chromosomally normal (multinucleated) which didn't show until day 2 & 3. They said it's too soon to tell but to call back tomorrow to check.
