@caketin: thanks for asking. I like my FS and the clinic out east so went back there early this year for another cycle. BFP! The challenge has been keeping the preg going, though. So i am very cautious. I remember you are planning to have #2. Did you still have the frozen sperms or DH need another TESE?

@bbhope that's great! It's truly hard not to be cautious when you've been through so much. We've got frozen sperm so no TESE this time, think we have 9 more vials frozen. It'll still be full cycle for me though. I've got my coordination booked for 24th April.

I came across this forum searching for reviews about Concept a few months back and have been stalking am little bit

im currently on my TWW after our first IVF cycle with Concept under Dr Artley. After originally seeing a different Dr at a different centre over 18 months ago we took a break and went to see Dr Artley on the recommendation of a friend and there was just something about him that made us comfortable.

We we have also been lucky enough to do the standard program so we will have enough money to have a few goes.

good luck to those who are just starting out or as I saw heading back for number 2

@caketin: it sounded like things are rolling on your side and good that there are vials left!

Good luck with the cycle! I remember when I started the synerol it seemed like the longest wait for anything to happen! The first time in 2.5 years that I was impatient for my period to show up!
I hope your cycle goes well

We're not telling any family this time around until we actually are pregnant (hopefully!). We found last time with our daughter they knew too much too early. We want it to be more of a surprise this next time.

I told my parents the first time when I got bfp and the whole ivf story. Only to find out the chemical at 5w. And they aren't very supportive about me doing the ivf again so I stopped talking to them about it. They wanted to be supportive but came across the wrong way unfortunately. We just passed the 12w mark and we haven't told any friend because of the history of miscarriages. DH finally told his family last week about the whole story. It is a difficult one. I don't think I plan to tell my parents until later on. This is like 3rd ivf and first preg to get this far. More anxiety than enjoying it.

Haha Funnyface that's sooo true isn't it! My hubby and I often cackle about how we were trying soo hard not to get pregnant for the first 7years of our relationship(we were only 18 and 19) had we known how long it would take we would've probably not worried so much back then! Completely understand where youre coming from Caketin..we are the same..we have decided once we do get a positive result we will happily tell everyone about the process but don't want the pressure of everyone else waiting impatiently as well as us! And bbhope don't be anxious hun, That is soo exciting! Honestly hearing about successes like yours is what keeps us all excited knowing its actually possible!

Just saw your news @bbhope congrats!!! Totally understandable to be anxious but I hope you are allowing yourself to get a little bit excited too

I’ve been AWOL for the past few months, focused on study and work but DH and I have decided we’re finally ready to try another FET so we’re just waiting for AF to arrive. Should be any day now.

Welcome @blossom87 when’s your FET scheduled for? Re: telling people, my mum knows and is a great support and we told a few close friends about our last cycle but only after we knew it was a bfn and mainly so they understood what was going on for us… it’s actually been good as it’s stopped all the questions about when are we going to start a family etc no one understands but at least they are mindful of our situation now

Hello also to @FunnyFace hope you are distracting yourself in the tww

Others on the facebook group, I don’t use facebook so I can’t join but I would love to hear what everyone’s been up to over the past few months. Hopefully some success stories??
