He is rather new. waiting time is a bit shorter. With FS, it is either click or no click. I have only seen him twice. Good luck.

Hi Bubbles, we have our first appointment Tuesday... I'm hovering between extreme nerves, and extreme excitement! Nerves at the procedures and any potential bad news... But excited to start the journey and have a "plan" of sorts!

12pm Tuesday can't come soon enough!

Default Calling all Perth girls #20

Sharlie - I've sent you a PM about the group

Bubbles - I haven't heard about Dr Artley but I haven't been to Concept since 2012. I'm getting nervous already about my appointment in March!

Brooke - good luck for your appointment.

We had seen another Dr at Fertility North a few years ago. They basically told us to loose weight and come back. So 50kgs each gone and now hubby has done a sperm analysis with our gp and they haven't got any better (so weight wasn't the issue) so now we have to go with IVF or ICSI. Guess we will find out where we have to go from here on the 18th March. Im really hoping that we can do the standard IVF/ICSI. The cost for it all is just outrageous. Im in the mindset now that we just won't have kids because we can't afford it all. The IVF part that is. Not fair that people can get pregnant at the drop of a hat and don't want the babies, and we are desperate and can't get pregnant.

Every clinic and FS have rule about bmi. I am not sure how strict dr Artley is. Hope that won't stop u from the treatment. IVF is expensive. Medicare helps a lot. But if all drs aren't charging that much, it might be a more affordable thing.
