Hi ladies. I'm hoping someone can help me! Dh just got his results back from the gp of his semen analysis. It's been 2 years and he's lost 55kgs and it's still crap. ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1423655047.738716.jpg

It's looking like we're definitely going down the ivf path now. I'm devastated

corzyjayne: Good that your clinic doesn't charge anything. Ours charge ~$150. It is only a new thing because they didn't use any for my first cycle.

bubbles: Sorry. Have you talked to a FS yet? Based on the motility, they will probably suggest ICSI. Have you looked at concept standard protocol? The cheap option?

Bubbles: i think babygirl posted it here few pages back. I think it is for ppl who are doing straight forward ivf. You need to talk to concept fs first before they can decide if you guys are eligible. Give them a call and see what they say. I think the low cost is like $1500 OOP plus hospital related fee if you don't have phi. All I can remember is that the embies are cultured to day 3 only. Not sure if you can have the same fs for epu and ET.

Brooke: I haven't posted much here on this thread. Most my "consultations" go onto a different thread. I am not a medical dr so it is more like advices or info. Happy to help others. But I am sure that other ladies who have been on this journey for a long time know much more than me.

Hi bubbles. This is almost identical to my hubby's. You will be required to do icsi ivf. We had our fresh cycle about 4 months ago, and have just started our first frozen cycle. If u had any specific questions don't hesitate to pm me :-)

We didn't have glue for our fresh ($500!) but we will be doing it for frozen, it's less expensive for FET for some reason.

Hi ladies, I'm back again. I've got my first appointment on 3rd March with my FS so I better get my head back into the IVF mindset. This will be a different experience doing IVF with a toddler in tow.

Whoa. They must have earned a lot of profit off the glue. My clinic is charging $150. So I am guessing the manufactured price is more like $50? Who knows.
