I've lost 48kgs (1 year post) and he's lost the same (6 months post) and he's just got a referral o have his sperm tested at the gp so we can see if it's improved. If it hasn't we will be going down the fertility road. Can you recommend a specialist nor? We were going to fertility north in Joondalup but I wasn't comfortable with the dr.
Hi @Bubbles1984, I just want to say well done on the weight loss I've just had weight loss surgery 4 months ago and on my way to hitting the bmi that pivet would like me at. I'm hoping that I will have an assessment cycle in March and start cycling in April best of luck to you!

Hi Determinedone! how are you going with you weight loss? Has your surgeon given you the ok to start ttc? Most of the bariatric surgeons make you wait at least 12 months after the sleeve before you even attempt to start trying.

Hi @Excited1, yep I'm cycling again soon. Got my day 21 appt booked for Friday next week, which is actually day 28 for me but I'm going away in a few days to Queensland for a week do doing it when I get back. But I have long cycles so it'll be fine. Looking forward to starting again but really nervous about jumping on this crazy train again! Really hoping it works because I don't really want to do it again!!
Good luck to everyone else cycling soon

Hi ladies. I would have started the fet cycle last week but I didn't get around to having my day 21 scan. Since the egg collection my cycles have shortened almost back to normal so Mrs Tugs we should be doing the fet at the same time. After my day 21 appointment with Pivet they sent me a script and consent form for a steroid type drug which I want to research a bit. There must be some side effects if you have to sign a consent to take it!

I've been enjoying the summer weather and holiday period so much though. Its been great to be able to enjoy a few drinks and soft cheese! I hope everyone else is doing well too. X

@Bubbles1984 I'm going great thanks I'm down 17-18kgs and have around another 12-15 to go. I've had to date no problem with the band. I think it was the best decision I could have made. I have struggled with weigh problem most of my life, been on the yoyo diet train of years. I've spoken with my dr and I have been advised I can start cycling around April which will make it 7 months post op. I look forward to this year and what it hold for us.

@DeterminedOne I see Dr Rollands but for PCOS. And when I say I see him- I mean I have seen him once... in my experience at Pivet you rarely see your fs. It is generally whoever is rostered on.
