Yep all part of the early pregnancy management I don't know for sure but I would definitely assume it's the same at both clinics.
Yes, if all goes to plan and Mike isn't away on my DD, he will be my OB. You automatically get preference to see him (if you want) if you have come from FSWA which is great as it takes the worry out of finding someone who may or may not be available! If not will prob see Linda Wong.

Wow you really have a busy end to got year! Enjoy Melb and the weddings, should be great fun x

Congratulations @TeamCarts on your BFP and great BT results. I would highly recommend Dr Linda Wong she is my OB but you must book her in as early as you can as she books out quickly, once she has seen you for a pregnancy she keeps appointments a side for returning patients so easier to book in for your next pregnancy. Best of luck for who you choose and the next 8 months xx

Happy weekend ladies! feels good to be able to enjoy it. My bloating and weight gain appears to have subsided which is lovely. Unfortunately my mental state has been the worst it's ever been in the two years we've been trying for a baby.

I'm usually such a positive happy person that I'm really struggling with this. A colleague chose last week to confide that she is in the very early stages of her pregnancy and it nearly broke me! We aren't particularly close although she knows I'm going through IVF. I'm not entirely sure why she told me and she's a little insensitive at the best of times. I'm not sure how I'm going to deal with her while she is pregnant.

Do any of you lovely ladies have any suggestions on how to cope with the situation? I have never had this reaction when anyone has told me their baby news before! I usually feel so genuinely happy for them. I am so annoyed with myself for feeling so devastated!

@Peedypie, it's really hard sometimes...I know I struggle being around pregnant people in general a lot of the time. It's not that I don't want them to be pregnant (or that I would wish the hell of infertility on anyone), it's more I find I just get really sad for me and DH and what we don't have when I'm around them. One of my best friends started ttc at the same time as us but got pregnant straight away and even now I find it hard to spend much time with her little girl because it's hard to shake that feeling of it not being fair and I should have a toddler the same age now too! I would never ever tell her that though, it's not her fault she's apparently super fertile and I'm not! I have found the best way to deal with it for me is to try limit the baby talk with people as much as possible. It also tends to go in waves, like sometimes it's totally fine and then other times it's not. Just be kind to yourself during those low times, do things that you love etc. Unfortunately there's no magic way to switch your feelings off (that I've found anyway) so you've got to just try ride it out as best you can and it does pass. Hopefully though your transfer will be a successful one so you won't be too far behind your colleague
