Mossman Gorge and Skyrail for rainforest; outer reef boat (I like Silversonic) for reef; Daintree River / Cape Tribulation for croc cruise; there's s good day spa at the Sea Temple Palm Cove for relaxing...

Don't know how long you've got up there but heading up on to the Tablelands is well worth the effort. Beautiful countryside plus crater lakes and waterfall driving circuit.

Go out to Green Island if you get a chance, it's beautiful.

We've stayed at Clifton Beach and Yorkey's Knob. Both gorgeous.

Port Douglas is about 50kms from Cairns and is worth the drive.

I hope you have a fantastic time, we hope to move there in the next couple of years and next June we're getting married on the beach at Palm Cove!
