    Default Stupid question...

Ok I feel like a total idiot asking but ive googled to no avail....

I have a loan car from the mechanic (mazda 121 as pictured) while mine is being repaired.

HOW THE HELL DO I OPEN THE BOOT?! I have worked out I need to put the key in the thing which pushes in but nothing happens!! Is there a trick?! Theres no lever near the drivers seat either that I can find.

Any help would be much appreciated! Attachment 61087

Look to the right of the steering wheel, down around shin level. It'll probably only have the bonnet catch but you might get lucky.
    Otherwise inside the bonnet.
When you put the key in can you turn it at all before pushing it in? I had one where you put the key in and turned to unlock then pushed the button in to open it.

Maybe there's no internal lever but a handle near the lock on the boot??

    Yep only got the bonnet.
Yeah when I push the key in, it pushes in, turns and makes a click sound like it's releasing/locking but boot wont open.
What do you mean inside the bonnet? Ugh I want my car back lol

I didn't mean a handle as such, but just a place to grab and pull up whilst turning your key.
