Mainly the ability to stay harnessed for a lot longer, my DS2 is 4 and getting close to the markers in his seat to swap to a seatbelt and as he frequently has meltdowns in the car (he has SPD) I am reluctant to move him out of the harness and into a seatbelt. The evolve would mean I can keep him in it a lot longer.

I would shop around that seems really expensive to me! I have seen them cheaper elsewhere.

Currently out of stock until late October but still a fair bit cheaper...that was a two minute search on Google to find that price...

If the evolve is too big safe n sound is bringing out the Maxi Guard, which looks a lot like the Maxi Rider easy adjust but has much higher markers and is a bit narrower then the evolve.

If you have ISOFIX in your car Maxi-cosi are releasing 2 new ISOFIX compatibale seats on the 29th. They are in the new baby bunting brochure. I think they are about $550 not sure how wide they are though.

I would avoid it. Even though it goes from birth to 8 the markers are lower in them for the various stages.
