Default Could this be possible this close to having a baby???

    Hi,

So just wondering what's the likelihood of being preg?? Eek

I have a 3 month old - first time we DtD 10 days ago for first time no signs of period returning...

Today I had some bleeding and thought, (bugger period returning) then my mind all of a sudden realises we dtd 10 days ago day or so in which after we dtd noticing a bit of mucous which I didn't think of until remembering now, and that bleeding has only lasted that one wipe that was at 4pm it's now midnight so now my mind is racing omg implantation bleeding??

Does your first period kick start straight from first bleed or is this sounding like implantation??

    Thoughts??
    TIA

My DS is 4 months and I've had two periods since which have been whacky! The first one (maybe TMI) was super heavy and lasted over a week, the second was over a week late which was nerve wracking because we DTD many times. It's common for periods to be all over the place after giving birth. The only way to be sure is a pregnancy test which you're probably too early for. Good luck! Positive thoughts :-)

I guess that didn't really answer your question about the likelyhood! Depends on a number of factors especially if your breastfeeding and if you used contraception

You ovulate before your period returns post-birth. There's no way of predicting when you will ovulate for the first time - you just get a period two weeks later. Hence you need to use contraception if you want to avoid pregnancy.
