I am currently in the 2ww and going insane. This is my eighth and last cycle so am really scared about my results.
I am 8dp5dt and on Crinone and pessaries, plus had pregnyl boosters so the likelihood of a bleed is very slim. I'm thinking of doing a hpt on Wednesday, blood test day, just to give me some inkling.
My past three cycles had all been low positives.
I have been googling like made, but you never know what means what.
Anyway sorry for the ramble. Good luck to all of you stimming and in 2ww. Here's hoping!!
@Minib what post transfer support are you on? If your period is starting that early after transfer you need more than they're giving you, especially since that's two cycles where you have had early bleeds! However, pessaries and gel can irate the hell out of your insides so you can get bleeding because of that too. Let us know what your test results are.
***edit: just read down and saw you're on one crinone a day. To be honest if you bled at 7dp3dt (eg 10DPO) last cycle and are now bleeding at 4dp5dt (9DPO) your FS should be investigating why. IMO you should have been on higher support this cycle knowing you bled so early last time!
@mushy don't freak out too much - it's hard to monitor correctly because the progesterone administered vaginally doesn't always show in the blood so testing you might not actually tell them anything.
@jasminecook85 an AA blast is a blastocyst that is graded AA (highest). Your embryos are graded on a daily basis and when they reach blast stage they are graded by a number 1-6 with 6 being highest - a hatching blast, the number corresponds to the expansion grade. They are also graded two letters A-C with A being highest - these are for the quality of the inner cell mass and the quality of the outer layer of the blast. The embryo we put back was a 5AA meaning a few cells had just started to hatch out of the shell and it was excellent quality for both the inner cell mass and the outer layer. You can always ask the embryologist or your FS what grade yours are.
@Appy welcome. Hope the next couple of days don't drag too much for you

mushy was spot on. The nurse said progesterone gel administered vaginally matters more, blood test was just an indication. Doesn't mean we have enough around the cervix. I will definitely be asking for more support next time. I'm a bit peeved that I didn't get more support this cycle but I guess this ivf is a numbers game. I'm just sick of being on the fail side. It feels like another slap on the face to not even make it to blood test.
It's all over. Full flow now. I wouldn't mind going for fet straight away but given the Xmas holidays I might need to wait until January.
Thanks for the support ladies. I will still be in this thread. Supporting all of you x
