    Hi Ladies
    i got the results from second beta and it only rose to 12 from 8 and that was 1st bt Thursday and second Tuesday so its not great at all we have 3rd beta Friday but usually don't get results till next day so won't know anything till Monday. This sucks and more than likely we will miscarry sooner or later we r in beta hell I know there have been miracles with betas and late implanters but I'm pretty sure they just want another beta to hopefully see hcg drop and then move on from there I am just beside myself at the moment and with no one knowing we r going thru this it is very hard Work keeping it together as I am so moody and angry all the time and I have on a small case of the why me's...... I have been attending all events as usual but Am finding it really hard to smile and look like I'm enjoying it unfortunately I can't back out of any events but thankfully next week is the last week for many of the commitments I have so I can safely keep myself at home and wallow for a few days then. Sorry for the long me post I just needed to get it off my chest

    @mushy I have a similar pic pre-one of my EPU's but with sexy compression socks to round out the picture thanks to a Dr that was obsessed with patients wearing them for any surgery. Yay for being PUPO, I hope it's a sticky one for you
    @Funchu congratulations on your positive

    @Knaadams that's great that they're letting you go straight into a FET without a rest cycle

    @Minib we usually get daily updates but the clinic said they wouldn't bother with a day 2 with my lot (made me nervous, I have to admit!) I got an update today (more on that below). My clinic gives me cell/fragmentation details because I ask and the scientists know by now that I'm a bit of a stats/control freak and need to know Day 5 transfer set for Saturday. Hope your wait is going ok - the first week I find easy but the second is always crazy town!

    @lissa081 oh honey I am so very sorry to read that, let us know how you go Friday and in the meantime take good care of yourself. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that beta hell ends quickly either way for you. Not knowing is the absolute worst and I know the only thing that will make you feel marginally better is to have some closure or actual hope. I'm thinking of you xxx

    AFM - clinic rang today with the day 3 update, I was super nervous because they told me on day one that they wouldn't bother updating me day 2 with this lot which made me think they were already slow (we have quality issues) so I didn't expect much from the call. Instead I was shocked as hell when I was told that we have "9 beautiful 8 cell perfectly compacting embryos" (scientists exact words) and one that is a little slow but that they're keeping around just in case it catches up.

    I am in shock, we've never had more than 4 at this stage and they've always been a little slow so I'm just gobsmacked and for the first time in a very long time actually hopeful but at the same time trying not to get ahead of myself since we still need to get to blast. They'll update me again in the morning but we're aiming for a DET Saturday am and if all goes well we might actually have some frosties for once!

    Kalliope, that's fantastic!! Great numbers. Hopefully you get to freeze most of them.

    You can join us in tww after Saturday. I find every single day in the tww hard haha. Today I'm feeling ok as was busy at work. So didn't get a chance to think about it. Lucky it's almost Xmas so lots of function on.
