In that case, he'd miss out for being silly.

The cafe I worked at sold them for 50 cents each. Even then I'd get abused by angry customers because other places gave them out for free. With a marshmallow!

Make him clean it up. Ask him if he wanted the drink. Give him a warning that if he did it again he would lose the drink. Talk about why it is not nice to do it.

My eldest is only 2, so he does this kind of thing all the time, just for ****s and giggles. Depending on how much sleep I've had he will usually get this response from me:

I try to keep a straight face and not laugh myself, followed by a cleaning lesson and a short lecture on why we don't spit drinks everywhere. Then I get to drink the rest...

My daughter does this all the time with babycino. I just clean her up. .. Give her a second chance. .. The take it away if she's silly.

But I have a cunning plan. .. I order my cappuccino as the milk in my cup with my espresso shot on the side. I give her a few mouthfuls of froth from mine. .. Then pour my coffee shot in. .. And presto. Baby happy... mummy has coffee so she's happy and I didn't spend $2.50 on babycino.

Tell him off, then say that if he did it again I'd have it! DH would threaten to throw it away and follow through with it, I, on the other had can't stand waste so I'd drink it myself rather than chuck it.
