Hi @akakura, welcome to this wonderfully large thread! Goodluck for your ET. Fx this is your sticky bub x
I just had a random question I was hoping to get some feedback on...
When we met with our nurse she told us that after I start the injections, we need to use protection when having sex (condoms)
I'm just asking because I don't remember having to do this for my last cycle (4 years ago now) and because my husband hates condoms lol
Anyway just thought I would see if it's a well known thing...
Thanks in advance

Got my call and I have 3 embryos. Normally about 8 or 9 at this point so feeling very pessimistic as they all tend to die off between now and day 5. Sunday (day 3) should give me a better idea of quality. Feeling like the odds are slipping rapidly away on this cycle.
@knemorin yeah, my clinic tells us to use protection after day 8 of stimming to avoid multiple pregnancy (and after EPU to avoid infection)
good luck everyone.
KayzB They don't do ET on weekends at RPA (budget!) so its a 5 day transfer. Which is fine by me (I'd rather see how they develop) but I've always had a blastocyst to put back. This time I'm not so sure. How crappy does it have to be that they don't put one back? I guess I might find out.........
If I have an 8 cell (or a 6) on day 3 I'll be happy as Larry but its not looking great with my history of sh!te embryos. Looking forward to speaking to my FS on tuesday and getting his opinion on everything.
Feeling any symptoms at all? Did you get any with your previous BFP?
@Bongley I can imagine how crappy & frustrated you must be feeling 😞 Really hoping your embies keep kicking strong over the weekend.
Only thing different to BFN cycles was a sporadic dull ache on one side. So far nothing like that again. Well even if it was there again, I have a back condition that's been playing up lately, so prob wouldn't even be able to differentiate.
Oh well, just going to pray for the best but prepare for the worst xx
