    @KayzB would you mind letting me know who was and is your current nurse at Richmond. I've sent you a PM in case you don't want to publicise it on the forum.

    I hope my nurse is good but i've heard at Monash they rotate you around with the nurses anyways so i guess even if my first nurse is good i may not have her the whole cycle?

    Oh and stay strong hun! I'll be waiting for your good news i'm like you, dread seeing that one line so prefer to stay ignorantly in bliss for as long as i can!
    @Bongley - hope you get some positive news today!

    @Gelati just replied hun 😊
    Nope you do 'keep' the same nurse & have your initial appointment with your actual nurse. But then after your scans/BT, you just meet with whichever nurse is rostered on that morn to get your results.
    But your actual nurse will then ring you later with any change of instructions, EPU details, fert rates etc. And is your go-to person to call if you have any queries or issues.

    It's a bit of a different system to most clinics! xx

    Well the numbers in and.....I got 5. Really disappointed, that's the lowest number so far out of 8 cycles, we normally get 10 (11 last cycle)
    I know it only takes one and quality over quantity yadda yadda but my eggs are sh!t and we need to get out as many as possible to increase the chance of finding that golden egg.
    Normally EPU is a bit of a highlight for us but the disappointment has set in early this round. Out of the 70ish eggs I've had collected from the past 7 cycles only 1 has been any good so I'm not terribly confident at finding another one in these 5.
    Anyway, just hope I have a blastocyst by day 5 on tuesday.

    So sorry to read this Bongley. Fingers crossed they are 5 goodies! I got 14 from my last pickup and only 6 fertilized then only 3 were any good. Planned to get two transferred but one arrested on the day leaving me with one to transfer, and only one to freeze. Moral being - the more I go through and the more I read, the less it's about getting a huge number. I'm hoping those 5 are beautifully perfect

    And I'm so petrified my one little blast is not going to survive the thaw...time will tell come Wednesday next week. It was a little slow and made blast at day 6. So nerve wracking. I think because I know we can't go again any time soon it's playing with my mind.

    I'm going under general for the lipoidol flush on Monday which by the sounds of things isn't very common but am a little relieved as the procedure doesn't sound very pleasant. There's a lot going on in here so will have to read back to catch up.

    Good luck lovely ladies xxx

    Thanks @KayzB! Thats really good that you've found a good nurse now. I think if I'm not getting a good vibe or support from my nurse I'm going to wait another cycle. Last night I was thinking I'm not sure I can go through with it I really want to be strong though. I wish I didn't have needle phobia!!!
