    @me+he&she How exciting! Congratulations!

@hawksnest My DH did all the jabbing the same time every night. Our nurse told us it's better if it's done the same time. We collected 3 eggs from one ovary. One cycle, our FS was away at a conference and another FS did the transfer for us but he always monitored my bloods and scans.

I cannot even begin to process what has happened and I am broken beyond all belief. I do not know what to do. FS recommended trying another cycle and hesitantly through out the whole "you could lose more weight which my improve the quality" he said he didn't like to say it knowing I've lost weight already.

Guess I somehow have to keep losing weight, somehow get my mojo back to get back to the gym constantly, and hope that losing more weight will improve their quality

How do I begin to tell my family it is unlikely I will ever have a baby of my own? How do you even move forward?
Oh I'm so sorry such horrible news to hear. I agree with other ladies about the BMI prob not the be all and end all. After my first failed cycle my fs put me on supplements to improve egg quality and told me to let it work for three months and try again. I think it's worth a try and could also find a fs who specialises in low quality eggs.

@me+he&she=three - yaaaay! I bet you've woken up on cloud 9?! Will this be your first bubba? So exciting! Xx

    Good luck @Femmefatal

    Best of luck @apolly

Thank you @amiracle4me And I hope your little one is snuggling in nice and deep

@Emerald26 - thanks Hun I'm fully hanging for your result! One more sleep...xx

Thanks @MissBell - I wonder why our bloods are on different days?? Probably just different clinic protocols I suppose. One more sleep for you and then I wish you some lovely high/reassuring results I hope your little one is feeling better, that sucks x

@akakura - thanks Who knows how mine will turn out but if you want to compare....I didn't feel any symptoms at all until exactly 5dp5dt and that evening I could taste a veeeery slight metallic taste in my mouth and nose. 6dp5dt evening, I could no-doubt-about it taste that metallic taste and my boobs started to get achey/burning flushes. That being said....I'm sure we're all different though. Best of sticky/BFP-y luck to you

@SJ89 - your poor belly from all of those jabs. I hope you get some perfect results this Wednesday then all systems go for your EPU on Friday!

@hawknest- hurray for AF....here's hoping it'll be you last one for the next year or so

Thanks @MrsChino - sounds like you have some good action going on in there. I'm totally with you with needing to change things up each cycle to get better results, I'm sure the ICSI wil do the trick for you....isn't it amazing that that technology is available to is all? Best of luck Hun x

@Rarah11 - you definitely sound as if you have grown some great quality eggies there...yay for them all still going!

Thanks @straycat - your post did bring me some comfort....I just hope you're right! I'll know this afternoon I guess xx

I hope you've recovered well @Gelati - 5 is a great number! I have everything crossed for 100% fert rate for you! Xx

@Annerley - can I just take a moment to mention how much you rock? Thanks so much for your messages....they totally bought me some reassurance on what was an anxiety filled day! I love your story and I really *really* hope mine has the same happy ending

@jeb8303 - oh Hun, my heart broke reading your message....and then I got mad. You know what, stuff that diagnosis and stuff your FS - I think the biggest thing you can take from that is that it's time for a new FS!!! If you have the eggs there, then there just *has* to be something you haven't yet tried that can bring you some improvement....you have to have at least one good quality eggie in there, time for some fresh eyes to your TTC case.....what's the use of a FS who has all but given up on you? Massive hugs to you xoxoxo

    Best of luck @amy111

AFM - well...blood test day today! If I can send a wish out to the universe would be that not only do I want to have a viable pregnancy hCG today....but I want to be totally greedy and ask for nice strong high reassuring levels so that I don't have to force myself to be positive and take reassurance from friends of friends stories who had super low hCG levels and still beat the odds....so far that person never seems to be me!

    Thanks Ladies

My FS is pretty amazing and is very upset for me as i broke down when he told me

He doesn't want me to give up yet on my own eggs as I have time on my hands and doesn't want me to even think about having to use donor eggs yet.

So I'm going to look into all the vitamins that are meant to improve egg quality and given we don't want to cycle until January that is about 3 months for the vitamins and stuff to take affect.

I don't know what use having all these eggs is if they aren't good.

The scariest thing for me is because I don't have a sister my child may not even have my own genetics because I have no sister who can donate her eggs.

I'm still so numb and it is going to be a very long day at work

@jeb8303 oh no, I am so sorry. All I can say is looking at your age and number of cycles that it's definitely worth a few more goes. I guess your FS is preparing you for the worst but it seems a little premature to me. Having said that perhaps check out some donor egg threads on bub hub. I've read through some (when I was going through my 3rd and 4th cycle) and they are very hopeful and inspiring.

@me+she&he=three - omg congratulations hun!!! awesome news!!!

@SJ89 - EPU on Friday gives your follies time to grow so fingers crossed they are growing into nice big plump follies of very strong quality!!! Slow and steady wins the race! Not long to go now hun...on the home stretch!

@hawksnest - haha love it! Good news that AF has come now. Goodluck this cycle!

@MrsChino - 9 follicles is a fantastic result! Goodluck for EPU on Thu and hope ICSI will make the difference. I'm doing ICSI as well so FX that we both get some good fetilisation rates!

Welcome @Femmefatal - hope all goes well with your hubby and goodluck for this cycle! hope your IVF journey is a short and sweet one

@jeb8303 - so sorry to hear your news. Surely there are other ways of improving egg quality other than losing more weight? would speaking to another FS help maybe?

@Hopeisfading - how did you go yesterday hun? i hope EPU went well for you xx

AFM - feeling a lot better today. Woah that EPU really knocks your insides about. Thank goodness for panadol!!! It's amazing what a difference one day makes though because yesterday i could barely walk and today i'm pottering about with only minimal discomfort. Waiting for that all important call today!!!
