OMG, my 4th BFP in the last year.....can I even handle this???! My mantra for today is that I can't get to the healthy/happy bubba at the end without initially getting past all of these scary first milestones.....DH & I are both SO freak'n scared and cautiously happy. Pleeeeease let this be our healthy take- home bubba....it's time!

I had used up all of my fancy ways to surprise my DH with a positive first stick so this morning I peed and handed him out the stick straight away so he could get a taste of how nerve-wracking it is! Ha ha ha

@straycat - yes that's how I was after my first cycle. I didn't cave and do it at all and I had 3 transfers. Second time around I do it close to BT so I can grieve at home with my partner rather than waiting all day for that awful phone call and getting myself worked up. I don't think I'll ever be one of those amazing ladies who POAS religiously from 5dpt, but doing it when I know the result will be clear works well for me. My FS still makes me go in for BT but at least I know what's coming.
And I also agree with ivf bringing partners closer together - you'd think it'd be the opposite but I now see it as if we can make it through this we can make it through anything!
I hope your heads not too sore this morning from all those wines

@Ladydee woohoo! Congrats on the bfp. I can understand your cautiousness considering your history but it's a bfp today so you're a step closer to a take home baby!!
@straycat I love japan too, have never lived there but have had Japanese housemates and DH and I had our honeymoon there. Akakura was a fav ski resort 😊

@Ree888 next time I think I will POAS on the day or just before BT. I think most clinics make you do a BT even if your period has come and gone and it is clearly a negative, maybe it prevents them from getting sued if they miss anything. I have a friend who has been TTC for 5+ years, also severe endo and has had over 20 cycles. Her and he husband are not doing so well, after years of IVF they are now financially drained and really over it.
