Okie dokie. After a long hiatus, I'm back on the wagon baby!

Starting day one of today. Who's with me?
I planned to jump back on board this week too. I actually haven't gained back the weight i lost after the last stint but i still have weight to lose. I was planning on fasting Wednesday and Friday as they work out the best for me not to be tempted by food.

Keep my accountable. I really need to get back on track.

    That sounds so good!

I'm pleased to say that today was a success and it's a good feeling after slacking off for so long. I'll be at it again Wednesday and hopefully Saturday.. I like to do 3 days because I'm so impatient and wasn't fast results.
I only have a few kgs to shake so it shouldn't take me long to reach my goal. If I stick with it that is!

I'm still going it as well. Started back on it about 3 weeks ago.
    Lost a couple of kilos.
I'm now pre second baby weight.
Just need to kick a few more kilos to get get proper pre baby weight.
If all goes well I may continue on to lose a but more as well.
Small goals and steps at a time for me.
Originally planned today as a fast, but we are out to lunch now. Will still have a smaller dinner though.

Fasting is not a weight loss tool. Fasting slows your metabolic rate down so your diet from before the fast is even more fattening after you fast.

Constant fasting isn't good for you or your metabolism. This is intermittent fasting which is very different
Worked great for me. It's not for everyone, but no diet or exercise plan will suit every single person.

This isn't starving. The 5:2 fasting diet is scientifically proven and has many other positive health benefits.

    Default 5:2 Fasting Diet

The studies regarding fasting and metabolism slowing were done post Ww2.
They consisted of very low calorie diets and fasting for a few weeks at a time.
This resulted in lowering of metabolism.
5:2 fasting has been backed up in studies (more current than the 1950s) of not lowering metabolism.
Fasting on this diet is only for a day and includes some calories, so is not TRUE fasting.
